(I didn’t see a tag where this might be more appropriate.)
Where are the links for the virtual banner parade and opening worship happening today?
I’ve found options for General Session I, beginning at 6p EDT, but the parade and worship are before that business meeting and I don’t see links in the Delegate portal or the UUA Livestream page.
For those that missed the banner parade and opening worship, recordings will be posted in the recording library in the Whova App. Recordings will continue to be available after GA throughout the summer.
Why isn’t the banner parade and opening worship service readily available to all in a TIMELY manner. I find this very discriminatory to the business only delegates.
Hi Larry. Business delegates aren’t able to access the Whova app. What’s our best forum to advocate that business delegates get access to worship (at a minimum) for GA 2026 and since the Whova discussions related to the topics we’re voting on for the broader registrants also often happen on Whova, I’m wondering if there’s a way for business delegates to get visibility into those discussions? I imagine there’s a group that could help with that. With light, care and appreciation to all of you dear people supporting GA and us!
There are no official channels in Whova for business discussions. Any business conversations happening there are organic and akin to having a conversation at your own congregational watch party.
Knowing Business Only Registrants cannot access Whova, we intentionally hold business discussions on this public discussion site. We also created tree chat rooms in the delegate platform for delegates to have real time chats with each other.
The GA Registration page provides details on what’s available with the different types of registration.
Business-only registration provides access to the GA Delegate Platform for discussion and voting during General Sessions. … Business-only registrants will have access to delegate discussion spaces but will not have access to GA programming, the GA app, networking opportunities, or the exhibit hall.
If you are business only, you only have access to the business sessions per https://www.uua.org/ga/congregations/delegates/faq -
“* Business-only Online: Business-only registrants will have access to delegate discussion spaces but will not have access to GA programming or the GA app”
However, the Sunday morning church service will be shared publicly along with the General Sessions on the UUA page for public viewing. You can find those here: https://www.uua.org/ga/off-site/2025
It looks like the Sunday worship is only being streamed lived, while the General Sessions are also being recorded and saved for a bit for delegates or others to watch after the fact. Sessions 1 and 2 seem to be already available.
Anything else, like the banner parade or opening worship, I don’t know and can’t see any official announcement of any kind, but I have heard folks say that some things become publicly available many months later?
Delegates represent more than themselves; some (like me this year; a novelty that I really appreciate) have other members of their CFS* here with them, and could have discussions on Whova if they are not sitting together for one reason or another. “Hallway track” is very important in any convention.

Hey Larry – I know that the discussions are supposed to all happen on the platform to which business delegates have access, yet they often happen on Whova as well. And when we register, the limitations of the business delegate access are obscure. As mentioned in the chat, some delegates didn’t know how limited it would be. I’ve been a business delegate before but even I thought I would be able to attend 5 pm worship and changed a medical appointment to be able to attend. Let’s get a structure in place for next year’s GA to see what would be reasonable at this lower price point for both the
UUA and the business delegates. Access to worship seems like a good start to my heart, eye and spirit! Thanks so much for your nurturing support of us all and that of other tech folks moderators etc! Light love and care to all and to our dear world
