Reverse the order of Section C-2.1 Purposes and Section C-2.2 Values and Covenant.
What is the reason for your amendment idea?
The purpose of the UUA is derivative from our stated values. To be accountable, we need to evaluate whether or not the stated purpose of the UUA is consistent with our values.
Have you discussed this idea with your congregation or other UUs?
Yes, in a small focus group of members. We unanimously agreed that this would be a constructive recommendation.
