What is your suggestion or idea?
Remove proposed Values and Covenants section. Replace with the current Principles section.
What is the reason for your amendment idea?
The principles are specific, enduring, and clearly worded. The
proposed values are not. They are nice sound bites, but they are not
aspirational.
Have you discussed this idea with your congregation or other UUs?
No. My congregation does not have a specific process to raise these issues with the congregation.
