Where to read about Imagining Abolition

I have not been able to find anything to read about the proposed Congregational Study/Action Issue Workshop: Imagining Abolition

In Whova, go to Agenda for tomorrow and Tuesday, each has a CS/AI session, click View Details.

Is it just that short paragraph?? It doesn’t explain too much. Isn’t this a 3 year study action?

The Church of the Larger Fellowsip, the congregation that introduced the action issue last year, maintains a wealth of resources and a monthly discussion (that are recorded) at Abolition, Transformation, and Faith Formation

I’m not certain what the Commission on Social Witness has plans for their events, but I hope to see you there!

That is just a description of the event. They will surely have more resources to share.

Everything related to any CSAI and/or AIW can be found at About the Social Witness Process.

Abolition, Transformation, and Faith Formation was selected as the 2024-2027 Congregational Study Action Issue (CSAI). Read the entire CSAI. Find resources and monthly conversations at CLF’s learning hub.

I can’t find info that tells me where the CSAI Workshop will be in our cyber world. Can anyone direct me? Thanks, Claudia

Starts at 3:30; looking for link. It should be in the Whova agenda, which helps everyone but business-only delegates, who probably don’t have access. Thanks for the reminder!

Thank you-I was afraid of that. Only one of us is paid (me.) Seems like this and the Budget Hearing should be open to everyone.
Thanks again! Claudia

someone added a link in a separate discussion, but they have the time wrong - you have the time right.

Apparently it was open to business-only delegates, but probably not through the delegate platform—which I understand, as that platform should be literally business-only, anything else would be out of place.

I have a link to it in my “business only” delegate platform. Regrettably I was unable to attend and am hoping to find the recording somewhere in the near future.

edited: it looks like the recording was saved locally to someone’s computer and not the cloud; I’ve reached out and will share here asap when the recording is available. I’m sorry!

Here is the link for yesterday’s video
