I have been a congregant of several UU organizations since 1991. I was staff for four years and love the open-mindedness and charitableness of the people I’ve met. I am not as liberal politically as I’ve seen the people around me become in this decade of polarization. So one of my main goals is to heal that human tendency to “sort and other” . In this regard I am a fan of Braver Angels and the book by Monica Guzman “I Never Thought of It That Way: How to Have Fearlessly Curious Conversations in Dangerously Divided Times”
