Active member of Horizon UU Church in Carrollton, TX since 2009. Co-coordinator of the city Pride celebration held on Horizon’s grounds. Active gardener in our community garden. Past Justice and Faith Connections coordinator. Member of Horizon’s choir. Early retiree. Raised in the liberal branch of Lutheranism (ELCA) in north Iowa. BA in Math from Luther College, Decorah, IA. Recently served as interim office administrator for Horizon. Served on ministerial search committee in 2015. I believe that UU can be a saving message for folks and that if we keep working together we can stem the tide of fear and get people to start building the world that we dream of where all are safe and valued.
