I am a retired social worker and former Peace Corps Volunteer (2013-15) in Ukraine and have been active with my partner Marya in education and fund raising for humanitarian aid for Ukraine since the Russian invasion 2/22. The invasion of Ukraine is at the forefront of the international existential battle for democracy vs. totalitarianism/fascism.
