I became a UU in 2000 and spent 2000-2017 as a member of Northwoods UU Church in the Woodlands TX where I was active as an RE teacher and serving on the Generosity, Endowment and Leadership Development Committees. I am a charter member of Tapestry UU Church of Houston TX where I served in 2017-2021 as a Religious Exploration teacher and on Finance, Worship Arts and CUUPs Committees. I am currently an active member of the UU Church of the Hill Country in Kerrville TX. In addition to churches, I have been a member of the Board of Trustees for the UBarU Unitarian Universalist Camp and Retreat Center since 2000. I am also active with Reverend Betty Skwarek in the Friday Fellowship services sponsored by UBarU and by the Unitarian Universalist Free Range Ministry.
