I am a born-again UU who left my parents’ secular-humanist churches in my teens and rejoined a more spiritual congregation in my mid thirties. I am presently a member of First Unitarian Universalist Society in Newton, MA (FUUSN).
I have been a member of RE, Youth, Small group Ministry and Over 60s committees, run two canvasses, served as the chair of my congregation’s board of trustees, served on 2 ministerial search committees, was a president of the old Mass Bay District of the UUA, and served on the planning committee of the New England Leadership School (NELS) for 4 years.
I retired from a lifetime in high tech to spend 18 years as a teacher/naturalist for Mass Audubon.I ran my own UU congregational consulting practice for 7 years before retiring from that, too. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Newton Conservators, a land trust promoting open space and connecting people to nature in Newton, MA.
